METHOD

Prep it –

Perfect if you have some old jam jars or mason jars lying around. This is such a quick breakfast if you’re on the go or have zero time in the morning.

For all of the oat pots, fill with oats about halfway, add the seeds and give it a good stir up to combine.

The measurements really depend on the size of pot you are using. Use your judgement on the seeds depending on how oath you like it. I keep it to about one-fifth seeds.

Add the flavour –

Add in your flavourings, weather that’s berries, banana, nuts etc… There really isn’t a bad combination here, you can’t go wrong. Frozen berries are my favorite and a really adorable option. A drop of maple syrup of sets the sour berries really well.

Add in your plant milk. My preference is oat milk as its so creamy. You want to fill this to almost the top. Seal with the lid and pop into the fridge over night. The oats will soak up all of the plant milk and will be soft and chewy in the morning….mmm.

Serve it –

Whether you’re on the go and popping this into a breakfast bag for work or just having it at home, a great way to finish off your chosen pot is to top it off with some toasted almonds or coconut flakes.

This recipe is so easy and adaptable to whatever flavors you like!

TASTY TIPS

During the winter my favorite flavors are frozen berries and coconut. In the summer try seasonal mango and pineapple. You will be surprised by how well it works!

Swap Outs – This recipe is so versatile. Aside from the fruit and nut swaps (there’s no end to the combination) try changing out the oat milk for almond or coconut.

You don’t need to rush out and buy mason or Kilner jars. I hold onto old jam jars and pickle jars. This gives me lots of size options depending on how hungry I am.

I recommend having these the morning after you’ve made them, but they will keep nicely (refrigerated) until the next day.
