OAT COOKIES

INGREDIENTS
10 tbsp Oats (whole or ground)
3 tbsp mixed dried fruit
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
3 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 banana
3 tbsp peanut butter
METHOD
MIX IT UP –
Wet ingredients first. Mash up the banana the old fashioned way using a fork in a bowl. When your happy its fully mashed add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Mix until they are all combined together.
Then add your dry ingredients to the bowl, dried fruit, coconut, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Mix well and add the oats or milled oats gradually until you have a stiff mixture.
GETTING YOUR HANDS DIRTY –
Wet your hands, taking a tablespoon amount into your palm, and form the dough into a round flat cookie shape. This is a great and easy recipe to get the little people in the house involved.
BAKING –
Preheat your oven. These little beauties only take 10 to 12 minutes.
